LaBella Associates is seeking a Civil Designer to design municipal engineering plans across our Rochester, Buffalo, Latham, Elmira, NY and Scranton, PA offices. You will draft using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, supporting sustainable renewable projects and site observation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in civil engineering or related field, 2–4 years drafting experience, and an EIT or plan to obtain within 12 months. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of drafting and design experience for engineering plans.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit preferred.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsabilités

• Work independently and collaboratively on planning, design, and research for renewable engineering projects.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit; apply standard techniques.
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation and data collection.
• Support senior engineer in evaluating design alternatives and solving technical challenges.
• Collaborate with other divisions and departments in a professional manner.
• Engage in design training and mentoring activities.
