Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking a Civil Designer for multiple NY and PA offices, including Rochester, Buffalo, Latham, Elmira, and Scranton. You will design plans for municipal projects, create drawings with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit, and support project teams on renewable engineering initiatives.

Requirements include a BS in civil engineering, 2–4 years of drafting experience, and an EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months. Salary ranges are $70,000 to $80,000 per year with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of drafting and design experience for engineering plans and documents.
• Knowledge of drafting methods using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit (preferred).
• Understand, analyze, and process complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and research on renewable engineering projects.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Conduct site visits and assist construction observation and data collection.
• Support senior engineer in evaluating design alternatives.
• Collaborate with other divisions and departments.
• Engage in design training and mentoring to build technical foundation.
