Job summary

Arevon, a U.S. energy leader based in Scottsdale, is seeking an Associate Accountant in Development Accounting. The role involves supporting monthly closings, journal entries, and coordination with auditors while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance.
• 0–3 years’ experience in accounting or public accounting.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and review monthly closings.
• Assist external auditors and tax professionals.
• Prepare debt service and distribution packages monthly/quarterly.
• Coordinate with internal/external parties to prepare draw packages.
• Ensure compliance with controls and corporate policies.
