Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. seeks an experienced Renewable Diesel Unit (RDU) Superintendent to provide strategic operational guidance for the RDU team and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across production processes.

You will lead multi‑department operations, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in renewable diesel production, reactor and feedstock handling, and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related work experience.
• Experience in Renewable/Bio Diesel, Steam reforming, Oil & Gas, or hydro processing.
• Experience overseeing operations for multiple departments or shifts.
• Experience leading audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute safe reliable production targets for the facility.
• Serve as primary liaison between operations, engineering, maintenance and leadership.
• Implement and monitor safety and compliance programs; promote safety culture.
• Prepare and execute audits on operating and regulatory procedures.
• Monitor plant equipment and quality management to meet standards.
• Advise on budgets to meet financial performance targets.
• Identify hazards and lead incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Lead talent management, coaching, and staffing decisions.
