Copia Power seeks an Associate, Development Engineering to help bring clean energy and data center load solutions to the U.S. power grid.

You will support developing large-scale energy assets and collaborate with Development, EPC, asset management, energy markets, legal, and finance teams in a team-focused role. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 1–2 years of renewable energy experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and PV modeling software (PVsyst or equivalent). Values collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage preliminary designs for development-stage projects.
• Conduct 10% level in-house design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and PVcase.
• Develop energy resource assessment models.
• Support energy production modeling and performance testing standards.
• On-site solar resource assessment and deployment support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize LCOE, IRR, and offtake prior to EPC LNTP.
• Coordinate design standards with the EPC team and vendors.
