RWE Americas, LLC is seeking an Asset Management Associate to join our team in Austin, TX. You will support the Asset Manager in driving profitability for solar, wind and storage assets by analyzing operational and financial performance, tracking KPIs, and identifying underperformance drivers.

This role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, HSSE, Procurement and Controlling to develop cost-reduction strategies and deliver detailed reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field; 2+ years experience is a plus.
• Experience in renewable energy asset management or related fields is desirable.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Asset Manager in driving profitability of solar, wind and storage assets by analyzing operational and financial performance.
• Support development and execution of cost-reduction or performance optimization strategies.
• Monitor asset KPIs, perform trend analysis, and investigate underperformance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and asset-level financials.
• Assist in contract alignment reviews and manage select vendor relationships.
• Provide reporting and insights to stakeholders on performance.
