Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a Senior Associate for Asset Management to drive profitability and optimize performance across wind, solar, and battery storage assets. The role collaborates with Operations, Finance, and Contract teams to analyze opportunities and implement cost-reduction strategies.

The position focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and asset-level financials, with responsibility for reporting and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of asset management, insurance, commercial, procurement, tax consulting, or controlling experience desired.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate technical findings into commercial impact.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial modeling with ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support profitability analysis of wind, solar, and battery storage assets, identifying opportunities in warranty, insurance, and tax.
• Assist cost-reduction or performance optimization initiatives.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and asset-level financials to identify opportunities and risks.
• Manage relationships through warranty processes, insurance obligations, and tax/abatement reviews.
• Provide detailed reporting and insights to stakeholders on operational and financial performance.
• Improve asset management systems and processes; collaborate with Operations, Engineering, HSSE, Procurement, and Controlling.
