Job summary

Pivot Energy, a leading ESG-focused IPP in distributed renewable energy, seeks a highly motivated Manager to own asset management models, govern data inputs, and drive forecasting accuracy. This role reports to the VP of Asset Management and can be remote within the U.S.

with regular Denver-based office presence. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in analytics within asset management or finance, strong Python skills (Pandas/Numpy), Excel, and BI tool experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or related
• 5+ years in analytical asset management/finance/infrastructure
• Proficiency in Python for forecasting workflows
• Strong Excel and presentation skills (PowerPoint)
• Experience with BI tools and SQL preferred

Responsibilities

• Own operating model forecasts, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and auditability
• Govern data inputs, assumptions, and model documentation including change logs
• Improve forecast quality by refining inputs and maintaining within thresholds
• Collaborate with VP, Asset Management to define decision rights for inputs
• Establish monthly operating model cadence and deliver updates within 5 business days of close
• Lead architecture and maintenance of long-term operating model as a scalable tool
• Integrate probabilistic scenarios (P50/P90/P99) into fund-level forecasts
• Provide regular sensitivity and scenario analyses of drivers on portfolio returns
• Lead annual budgeting at project/portfolio level and align with long-term models
• Develop and maintain dispatch/operational forecasting models with geographic and pricing signals
• Calibrate models against actuals to improve forecast accuracy
• Provide clear, data-driven recommendations for capital planning and debt optimization
