Job summary

Pilgrim in Green Bay, Wisconsin seeks an Operations Management professional to supervise the Rendering production on the first shift. You will oversee production, quality, safety, cost, housekeeping and employee relationships, ensuring smooth operation of the plant.

You will lead by example, review shift logs, coordinate with maintenance, and train staff to meet deadlines while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee the Rendering production in the Rendering department on first shift.
• Ensure operation of the plant across Production, Quality, Safety, Cost, Housekeeping and Employee Relationship.
• Relieve other positions as needed to maintain operating efficiencies and meet deadlines.
• Perform safety audits, HACCP, APPI and Salmonella program guidelines.
• Review shift notes, communicate issues to the Rendering Superintendent and suggest efficiency/safety improvements.
• Coach and train employees; maintain morale and constructive relationships.
• Assist maintenance with equipment repairs and troubleshoot plant problems.
• Maintain proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
