Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a supervisor to oversee Rendering production on the first shift. You will supervise staff, ensure safety and quality standards, and coordinate with maintenance to keep production flowing.

You will also monitor HACCP, APPI, and Salmonella programs, lead by example, and maintain open communication across shifts. You will conduct regular performance appraisals, provide training, and help optimize efficiency while controlling overtime costs.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a manufacturing environment.
• Oversee rendering production on the first shift and ensure schedules are met.
• Maintain safety, quality, cost, housekeeping and employee relations.
• Familiar with HACCP, APPI and Salmonella programs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and assist as needed to maintain operations.
• Relieve positions during breaks to meet deadlines and efficiency goals.
• Inspect quality of raw and finished products and production lines.
• Ensure receiving and shipping schedules are met.
