Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a Rendering Maintenance Planner in Grand Island, NE to support preventive and predictive maintenance for rendering equipment. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to improve reliability, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safe plant operations.

Responsibilities include creating work orders, maintaining PM plans, and coordinating weekly maintenance planning meetings.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 2 years of maintenance planning/coordinator experience preferred.
SAP experience preferred.
Strong industrial maintenance and electrical knowledge; rendering experience preferred.
Ability to read technical drawings and write detailed repair reports.
Proficient with office software and able to learn maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule rendering maintenance work and create work orders.
Maintain and update rendering equipment records and PM plans.
Set up predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, parts, tools, and safety steps.
Generate PM work orders and monitor completion for reliability and audit compliance.
Review notifications, collaborate with requestors, and create work orders.
Plan labor needs, parts, permits, and job packets for mechanics.
Analyze part failure trends and adjust PM plans with supervisors.
Coordinate weekly schedules and lead maintenance planning meetings.
Maintain 5S and support safety in rendering maintenance areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
