Description

The Rendering Maintenance Planner supports preventive and predictive maintenance for all rendering equipment. This role plans, schedules, and coordinates maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safe plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule rendering maintenance work and create work orders.
• Maintain and update rendering equipment records and PM plans.
• Set up predictive and preventive maintenance tasks, parts, tools, and safety steps.
• Generate PM work orders and monitor completion for reliability and audit compliance.
• Review notifications, collaborate with requestors, and create work orders.
• Plan labor needs, parts, permits, and job packets for mechanics.
• Analyze part failure trends and adjust PM plans with supervisors.
• Coordinate weekly schedules and lead maintenance planning meetings.
• Maintain 5S and support safety in rendering maintenance areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of maintenance planning/coordinator experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong industrial maintenance and electrical knowledge; rendering experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and write detailed repair reports.
• Proficient with office software and able to learn maintenance systems.
