Job summary

Axon’s Leadership Development Internship (LDI) is a selective summer program for ambitious students to own meaningful projects, collaborate with leaders, and gain exposure to a fast-growing public-safety technology company.

Interns work across teams including Product Management, Corporate Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Finance and more, with mentorship from program alumni and executives, accelerating professional growth and potential future roles at Axon.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree (Class of 2028 preferred).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in school, work, athletics, research, entrepreneurship, or the community.
  • Passion for solving complex problems.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Axon Headquarters) or Boston, MA.
  • Candidate interview process will begin in November.

Responsibilities

  • Own meaningful work from day one, partnering with leaders to solve business challenges.
  • Build cross-functional experience across Product Management, Corporate Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Global Strategy & Operations, Finance, People Operations, Virtual Reality and more.
  • Receive mentorship from Leadership Development Program alumni and Axon leaders.
  • Participate in LDI programming including panels, mentorship and networking events.
  • High-performing interns may be considered for future opportunities, including Axon's Leadership Development Program and full-time roles.

Axon's Leadership Development Internship (LDI) Overview

Axon's Leadership Development Internship (LDI) is a highly selective summer experience designed for ambitious students who want to solve meaningful problems, work alongside leaders, and gain exposure to one of the world's fastest‑growing publicly‑traded technology companies. Throughout the summer, interns take ownership of complex projects, build cross‑functional business experience, and make a lasting impact on Axon's mission.

  • LDI‑specific programming—including panels, speaker sessions, mentorship, and networking events—designed to accelerate your professional development and expose you to teams across Axon.
  • High‑performing interns may be considered for future opportunities, including Axon's Leadership Development Program and full‑time roles.

The starting hourly pay for this role is USD $30. The actual hourly pay is dependent upon many factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
