Job description

Axon's Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a highly selective, two-year rotational experience at one of the world's fastest-growing publicly traded technology companies. Built for ambitious graduates who want to solve meaningful problems, work directly with senior leaders, and accelerate their careers, the LDP is designed to identify, develop, and empower Axon's next generation of leaders.
WHO IS AXON?

Every day, millions of people rely on Axon's technology to make communities safer and more accountable. From AI-powered evidence management and body-worn cameras to drones and virtual reality training, we're building technology that protects lives and helps shape the future of public safety.

  • Axon is the industry leader in public safety technology, including body-worn cameras, TASER energy weapons, sensors, drones, virtual reality, and digital evidence management. Our mission is to Protect Life, Preserve Truth and Accelerate Justice through innovations in hardware and software.
  • In response to an increase in lethal gun interactions, CEO and Founder, Rick Smith, has devoted his life to making the world a safer place for everyone. In 2022, Axon launched its Moonshot goal to cut gun-related deaths between police and the public by 50% in 10 years.

Axon’s Leadership Development Program is a highly-selective, 2-year rotational program that places high-potential individuals in leadership-track roles across the company. Designed for those eager to gain broad business exposure at a high-growth company, Axon’s LDP is ideal for future leaders ready to drive innovation and make an impact.

  • 15+ participants with a diverse set of experiences and backgrounds
  • 3-5 rotations over 2 years, providing the flexibility to co-create your rotation experience based on skills, interests, and career goals
  • Own meaningful work from day one—partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges, influence decisions, and help shape Axon's future.
  • Build your rotational experience across key functions and teams, including: Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, People Operations, Virtual Reality, Product Development, Investor Relations, and many more!
  • Mentorship from an extensive network of LDP alumni and senior leaders, including Axon President Josh Isner.
  • LDP-specific programming (panels, speaker sessions, mentorship program) focused on career development and leadership training
  • Social events (e.g. Axon Suite at Phoenix Suns or Boston Celtics NBA games/concerts) that support the development of the tight-knit LDP community and provide exposure to the broader Axon community
  • Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are well-positioned for high-impact, leadership-track roles across Axon, equipped with a broad network and deep understanding of the business.

  • Passion for solving complex problems
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Location: Boston, MA; rotations may include other offices such as Scottsdale, Seattle, Washington DC, London, Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney. This role follows a hybrid schedule. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.
  • Travel: This role requires domestic and/or international travel; frequency varies by assigned rotation.
  • Note: This role is open to all qualified applicants, including international applicants from non-U.S. colleges and universities. We are able to host J-1 Exchange Visitors through a designated sponsor organization. Applicants must meet the requirements for a J-1 program.
