Advocate Health’s North Renal Unit in Winston-Salem is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Renal Unit. The position is full-time with a 36-hour work week on three 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with night rotation.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team caring for adults with renal disease, using ambient listening and real-time transcription tools for documentation. Ideal candidates are new graduates with RN licensure, BLS, and a commitment to evidence-based practice, safety,

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on unit.
• New graduate RN eligible to work in a Renal unit.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Uphold a culture of safety and document accurately in the EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with the care team.
• Pursue professional development and maintain certifications.
