Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4N Med-Surg unit. The team handles surgical and medical cases, with renal-focused care and 24/7 dialysis coverage; infusions run outpatient five days a week.

Qualifications

Current state RN license and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within six months.
One year of experience preferred; ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
