Job summary

Kansas Health System’s Olathe Hospital is seeking an RN Renal Unit Coordinator for the part-time day shift. You will supervise unit staff, coordinate patient throughput, and support performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements include a BSN by hire for new hires after 2025 or active enrollment for ADN holders, plus BLS and licensure as an RN. Prior nursing leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state where employed.
• BSN required by hire date for new hires after 2025; ADN nurses must enroll in BSN within 6 months and complete within 3 years.
• Provides charge nurse responsibilities including assignments and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Provide charge nurse responsibilities, including assignments, throughput management, and staff support.
• Manage patient care assignments based on needs and staffing matrix.
• Assist with hiring, education, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and HR on counseling and discipline as needed.
• Instruct staff to ensure compliance with standards through daily monitoring.
