Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a Per Diem Day Clinical Nurse for the Renal Treatment Center. The RN provides safe, competent care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and the Mount Sinai model of Relationship Centered Care.

You will assess patient needs, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families about care plans, transitions, and prevention of disease. The role includes coordinating with the Clinical Coordinator and playing a key role in care delivery

Qualificações

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or pursuing BSN.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in New York State (RN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers patient care by applying the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs using critical thinking.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate the plan of care.
• Educates patients and family members about plan of care, transitions, and health promotion.
• Performs charge nurse duties and coordinates supplies and staffing as needed.
• Documents thoroughly in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
