Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) – Renal to join our 6:45 PM–7:15 AM night shift. The role supports patient care, data collection, and care coordination within the Renal unit at the Fort Worth campus.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, PCT training or approved program, and BCLS certification. Strong teamwork and communication are essential in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• CLIAFE compliance knowledge.
• PCT training program or accredited equivalent.
• EMT or nursing student considered but hire requires appropriate status.
• BCLS certification required before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per care plan and patient/family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data; support admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and meet patient/visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
