Texas Health Resources is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Labor and Delivery at the Fort Worth campus. The role operates on a full-time night schedule (36 hours/week) with weekend and holiday requirements.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, CLIA/E regs for foreign education equivalency, PCT training program or THR-approved program, BCLS, CPI, and relevant experience or student status in nursing; EMT or related credentials may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CLIA regulations compliance related to foreign education equivalency required.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, accredited program or THR approved program; not required to maintain certification after hire.
• EMT training/experience or equivalent is required upon hire.
• Nursing student who completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program may be considered.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care; maintained quarterly.
• CPI training maintained annually (90 days).
• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care per care plan and family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data; support admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and meet patient/visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and effective cross-discipline communication.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent

CLIAFE Regulations Knowledge

PCT Training Program/THR Approved
