Job summary

MAC.BID in Butler, PA seeks a Removal Floater to support the entire removal process for customer returns and overstock items. This full-time hourly role offers weekday hours and on-site work with a focus on friendly, efficient customer service during pickup.

You will greet customers, assist in locating items, scan items in and out, and help ensure positive bidding experiences. Strong organization and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused

Responsibilities

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up . The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups
