MAC.BID is seeking a Removal Floater to support on-site pickup operations in Butler, PA. The role involves greeting customers, helping them locate won items, and ensuring a smooth pickup experience.

You will work with the removal team under supervision, handling item scans and assisting with various tasks as needed. The position requires on-site availability, lifting up to 25 pounds solo and 50 pounds with team assistance, and strict adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with team lift.
• Availability to work on-site; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch, schedule may vary Monday through Saturday.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Customer-focused and able to greet and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in finding items they won.
• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves.
• Encourage bidders to continue bidding by ensuring buyers are satisfied with pickup.
• Scan customers in and out for item pickups.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Full Time Manual Labor Butler - Yinz Binz, Butler, PA, US

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up . The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
