Job summary

Peer Health Exchange is seeking a Mental Health Coordinator to support the Community Partnerships team across 16 states, designing a Youth Mental Health Corp Leadership Fellows Program and reporting to the Director of School-Based Programs. This is a full-time remote role with light travel.

You will design monthly virtual spaces, provide LMS-based training, and train on near-peer mentoring and youth advocacy while partnering with AmeriCorps to expand mental health education for youth.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience implementing programs and increasing community mental health awareness.
• Able to work remotely and manage diverse tasks with attention to detail.
• Capable of facilitating large virtual groups and coordinating with AmeriCorps partners.
• Strong commitment to health equity and youth-centered outreach.

Responsibilities

• Design and host monthly virtual spaces to support YMHC.
• Use LMS for training and development resources.
• Provide training on near-peer mentoring, mental health education, and youth advocacy.
• Facilitate access to mental health supports.
• Create monthly feedback mechanisms for YMHC.
• Build relationships with AmeriCorps programs and host sites.
• Track attendance and exit surveys.
• Co-design and implement Youth Mental Health Corp Leadership Fellows Program.
• Lead fellowship meetings and nominate Fellows.
• Collect and manage exit survey data.
