Job summary

Asure Wound Solutions seeks a Clinical Specialist in Wound Care Supplies. This remote role is based in the eastern CT area and requires 3+ years in nursing homes or long-term care with strong wound care knowledge.

Travel up to 2 hours is expected; starting salary is $75,000 per year. Responsibilities include developing wound care plans, educating staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, effective care.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license required.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Strong wound care knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in wound management.
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques and products.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely wound care.
• Monitor and document wound progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices and evolving wound care developments.
