Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; no experience required, scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn scheduling software and follow established instructions.
• Clear written and verbal communication for confirming requests and updates.

Responsibilities

• Review scheduling requests from multiple channels and identify the employee, shift, and response needed.
• Check availability, duties, absences, and supervisor instructions before scheduling.
• Enter shifts into the workforce system using templates and verify dates and times.
• Flag unfilled shifts and conflicting requests for review before publication.
• Verify availability updates in the HR system and keep entries consistent with HR contacts.
• Distribute approved schedules and change notices via Teams with clear shift details.
• Organize swap requests and ensure supervisor approvals before updating the schedule.
• Follow up on unanswered questions and escalate unresolved gaps.
• Maintain notes so other schedulers can continue work seamlessly.
• Review completed schedules for accuracy and handoffs.
