Qualifications

• 2 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college is preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business is preferred.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: NY.
• Licensing: NY preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and the client; report to the excess carrier as required.
