Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation to analyze and adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims for clients in a flexible, remote role. You will review information, determine benefits, and adjudicate to meet service expectations.

Responsibilities include negotiating settlements within authority and communicating with claimants and clients while upholding Sedgwick's service standards. A HS diploma, 5 years' claims experience, and a home-state license are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing: Home state license required; main states AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing workers' compensation claims to determine benefits and exposure.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients, and reporting to carriers.
