Job summary

Sedgwick in the United States is seeking a seasoned Loss-Time Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex claims for diverse client portfolios. You will analyze exposure, negotiate settlements within authority, and communicate progress with claimants and clients while meeting service expectations.

This role requires 5 years of claims management experience, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), and jurisdiction licensing for MA, CT, NH, RI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing in MA, CT, NH, RI where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and adjudicate lost-time workers' compensation claims.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally.
