Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Loss-Time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze complex claims and adjudicate benefits for our valued clients across multiple jurisdictions. Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and processing claims through well-developed action plans to determine exposure and resolve timely.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally.
