Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze Lost-Time claims for major clients and determine benefits due while ensuring adjudication meets service standards. You will work within a global network to deliver client-focused solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of claims management experience, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), and licensing as required for jurisdictions such as DE, IL, LA, MO, NJ, OK, TN, or TX.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to resolution.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions promptly.
