Job summary

Charles Taylor is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster for a remote role in the US. You will manage all aspects of workers’ compensation claims, including validation of coverage, disability and medical benefits, and settlements, while coordinating with medical and legal professionals.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of WC claims experience, hold an active adjuster license with CEUs, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and negotiational skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience adjusting workers’ compensation claims in LA, TX and MS
• Adjuster license must be current with CEUs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws
• Strong grasp of medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of workers’ compensation claims including determining compensability and administering benefits
• Maintain and update claim notes and records in electronic systems
• Interview claimants, insureds, medical professionals, and witnesses to determine claim validity
• Communicate determinations to claimants, employers and providers
• Collaborate with legal counsel and underwriters as needed
• Pursue subrogation and identify recovery opportunities
• Assist with settlements, mediations, and hearings as required
• Ensure timely responses and high-level customer service
