Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking an experienced Account/Program Manager to oversee Owner Direct Insurance Projects (ODIP) for Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation and Community Insurance Corporation. The role offers remote or hybrid work with occasional office days in Brookfield, WI, and requires Wisconsin residency.

You will lead WC project activities, coordinate with contractors, regulators, and loss control, and ensure timely processing, documentation, and reporting within established deadlines.

Qualifications

• WI Property & Casualty license (State of WI)
• Bachelor's degree in insurance or related field
• 3–5 years of insurance or customer service experience, preferably commercial and workers compensation
• Knowledge of insurance practices and principles
• Experience handling Workers' Compensation Insurance, with proficiency
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel
• Ability to navigate web-based software and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service orientation with high accuracy and deadlines awareness
• Ability to build effective working relationships

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership of ODIP projects – Workers' Compensation.
• Handle day-to-day processing of ODIP projects.
• Manage collection and processing of workers' compensation applications and worksheets; forward to DWD for approval.
• Review applications/worksheets for accuracy and communicate discrepancies.
• Issue workers' compensation policies, final audits, and endorsements in Origami.
• Request payroll reports for contractors and track against applications.
• Maintain regular contact with general contractors, loss control, and project owners.
• Coordinate information with regulatory agencies (DWD, WCRB).
• Meet reporting deadlines and update project spreadsheets.
• Obtain signatures to close out contractors after completion.
• Submit policies, premiums, and documents for state reporting.
• Invoice insureds and provide activity summaries monthly.
• Attend project progress meetings and stewardship meetings.
• Travel within Wisconsin as needed.
