The Associate will independently manage a caseload, coordinate deadlines, and develop strategies to achieve favorable outcomes, including depositions, motions, and hearings.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Conduct depositions of claimants, witnesses, medical providers and experts.
• Prepare and argue motions, draft briefs and position statements.
• Represent clients in mediations and hearings before the SC Workers' Compensation Commission.
• Manage discovery, negotiate settlements, prepare client reports and maintain client communications.
