Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a compassionate Client Support Associate Attorney to support the Workers' Compensation department in a fully remote capacity, based in Burbank, CA. You will be the attorney point of contact for injured workers, guiding them through benefits and the workers' compensation process.

The role emphasizes clear communication, confidentiality, and collaboration with case managers and attorneys to ensure accurate, timely guidance for clients throughout claims.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Knowledge of California workers' compensation system.
• Exceptional verbal communication and active listening.
• Empathetic and patient demeanor in difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client call assignments following a priority-based protocol.
• Complete client calls within two business days, documenting any delays.
• Prioritize urgent matters such as benefit stoppages and medical treatment delays.
• Counsel clients on disability payments and medical treatment authorizations.
• Prepare clients for medical evaluations, depositions, and hearings.
• Explain workers' compensation concepts in clear, plain language.
• Address client concerns promptly and de-escalate sensitive conversations.
• Document all client interactions and advice accurately.
• Escalate benefit disputes and case-related concerns timely.
• Collaborate with case managers and attorneys to ensure consistent information.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
