Job summary

JT2 Integrated Resources seeks a motivated Claims Examiner in California to manage workers' compensation claims from start to finish. The role allows either remote or in-office work, under the Claims Supervisor.

Responsibilities include handling notices, reserving, paying benefits, settlements, and reporting while adhering to state laws. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of claims management experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and SIP-related credentials (CPCU, WCCA, WCCP, ARM).

Qualifications

• Three years of claims management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• SIP Certificate or related coursework: CPCU, WCCA, WCCP, ARM.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims from inception to conclusion under supervision.
• Ensure timely issuance of notices and required reports.
• Reserve files in compliance with injury type and costs.
• Ensure timely payment of benefits and related documents.
• Negotiate settlements and provide complete data for reviews.
• Monitor for fraud, subrogation, and case management criteria.
• Present claims summaries to clients during reviews.
• Train and direct junior staff to meet goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
