Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a Workday-Certified Time Tracking and Absence Consultant to join our Public Sector HR and Payroll Support team.

This remote role supports clients across the USA, translating complex bargaining agreements into precise Workday logic and ensuring compliance with CalHR policies and SCO payroll processes. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management configuration experience and a Workday Certification.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience configuring Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management.
• Workday Certification in Time Tracking and/or Absence Management.
• Experience in complex environments with multiple union agreements and shift patterns.
• Experience supporting California state agencies, counties, or higher education is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of CalHR policies, SCO payroll processes, and labor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, testing, and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management for public sector requirements.
• Translate policies, MOUs, and bargaining agreements into Workday logic to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with payroll and integration teams to align Workday outputs with SCO procedures, timelines, and reporting.
• Design and support leave types such as FMLA, CFRA, and military leave per California guidelines.
• Lead testing cycles, support quarterly updates, and troubleshoot timecard and absence discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
