Job summary

EquipmentShare is looking for a Work Site Stabilization Technician to prepare, stabilize, and finish work sites for construction projects. The role requires extensive travel (up to 90%) and overnight stays, with work across the Gulf Coast area and beyond.

This fully remote position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and collaboration with field teams. You will operate heavy equipment, apply soil stabilization methods, and coordinate with supervisors to meet site plans while adhering to OSHA and DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment experience in construction/roadwork/site stabilization.
• CDL Class A or B preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (skid steers, graders, compactors, water trucks, reclaimers, bulldozers) for stabilization and surface prep.
• Assess subgrade and base layers and apply treatments for compaction, drainage, durability.
• Execute stabilization processes including lime, cement, or fly ash mixing and spreading.
• Install and compact base layers using aggregate materials.
• Finish grade and smooth top layers for paving or other surface installations.
• Ensure elevation and slope match site plans.
