Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Work Site Stabilization Technician to join our field operations. This fully remote role requires preparing, stabilizing, and finishing sites for construction, with up to 90% travel to project locations.

Strong experience operating heavy equipment and knowledge of soil stabilization techniques are essential. Preferred are CDL and OSHA credentials, willingness for overnight stays, and the ability to adapt to varying weather and schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience operating heavy equipment on construction or road projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% with overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment for soil stabilization and surface prep.
• Perform subgrade/base layer assessments and apply treatments for proper compaction and drainage.
• Execute stabilization processes including lime, chat, or fly ash mixing and spreading.
• Install and compact base layers; finish grade and smooth top layers.
• Travel to job sites, coordinate with site staff, and ensure safety and compliance.
