Job summary

VMG Group Services India Private Limited seeks an experienced WordPress developer to design, customize, and maintain WordPress sites with a focus on WooCommerce-powered e-commerce. You will contribute to both front-end and back-end code, and integrate third-party APIs within a remote team.

The role requires deep WordPress knowledge, strong PHP/JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and experience with custom themes and page builders.

Qualifications

• Extensive WordPress experience, core functions, templates, hooks, CPTs.
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and WP frameworks.
• E-commerce experience with WooCommerce.
• Comfortable with custom themes and page builders.
• Strong technical SEO practices.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Able to work independently in a remote team.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Night shift from 6 PM to 3 AM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress sites using custom themes and page builders.
• Build and enhance e-commerce with WooCommerce.
• Write clean, secure front-end and back-end code.
• Integrate APIs, automate tasks, manage WP configurations.
• Troubleshoot performance, security risks, and plugin/theme conflicts.
• Optimize for technical SEO, site speed, and performance.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality work.
