AMD is seeking a WordPress Developer to join our remote team. You will create and customize WordPress plugins and themes, collaborate with stakeholders, and optimize site performance while adhering to secure coding practices and AI-assisted workflows.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins, strong HTML/CSS skills, and familiarity with WordPress architecture, hooks, PHP APIs, block editor, and REST API. This role offers remote work within the US.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and understanding of accessibility and maintainability best practices.
• Familiarity with WordPress architecture, including hooks, PHP APIs, the block editor, and REST API.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently and communicate with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and customize WordPress plugins and themes, including troubleshooting and implementing updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Improve site responsiveness, optimize performance, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adhere to secure coding standards while utilizing AI tools to streamline development workflows.
