Job summary

Indigo Marketing Agency is seeking a WordPress Website Quality Assurance Specialist on a contract or part-time basis. You will review development and staging sites built on WordPress with Elementor, ensuring they match the provided designs and meet accessibility and SEO standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of WordPress QA experience, deep Elementor knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance on tools and processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of WordPress QA experience required.
• Expert knowledge of Elementor and design-to-build fidelity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QA reviews of dev/staging WordPress sites against original designs for layout, styling and functionality.
• Verify design-to-build translation, including responsive behavior across devices.
• Ensure accessibility and usability standards; add alt text and perform basic accessibility checks.
• Check all buttons/links/interactions are functional and correctly linked.
• Perform on-page SEO checks using Yoast SEO by adding accurate meta tags for pages.
• Document discrepancies and bugs clearly in ClickUp for remediation.
• Test cross-browser compatibility, performance, and basic security practices.
• Perform additional checks like form functionality and widget integrations as needed.
