Job summary

Collaborative Office Interiors (COI) is hiring a WordPress Developer to own the marketing site stack, from landing pages to performance fixes. You will work remotely with our marketing, design, and SEO teams to ship features that keep COI ahead of the curve.

You’ll build high-converting pages, implement templates and blocks, fix Core Web Vitals, and automate deployments. Strong WordPress, PHP, JS, and SEO skills are essential, plus18 background in accessibility and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional WordPress development (custom themes/plugins).
• Proven track record boosting Core Web Vitals on production sites.
• Strong PHP and modern JS (ES6+), SCSS/Tailwind; Gutenberg blocks.
• SEO & technical-SEO skills (GSC, schema, sitemaps, redirects).
• Git workflow, automated testing, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ~3 h overlap with US Central Time.

Responsibilities

• Build high-converting landing pages matching UI/UX; implement site sections (templates, CPTs, blocks, ACF fields).
• Hunt down and resolve Google Search Console issues (crawl, indexing, schema, Core Web Vitals).
• Optimize performance and Core Web Vitals; audit plugins; plan image/CDN strategy.
• Automate deployments (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, WP-CLI, Bedrock or similar).
• Collaborate daily with designers and copywriters using Figma, Slack, Loom.
