Job summary

Dignotion Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer for remote, project-based work. You’ll build and optimize WordPress sites, including custom themes/plugins, with a focus on performance and scalable content structures.

You’ll collaborate asynchronously, handle REST APIs, WooCommerce, and third‑party integrations, and translate briefs into development roadmaps. Strong English and independent work style essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and related toolkits.
• Experience with REST APIs and Git workflows is advantageous.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Ability to plan scalable builds and work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English; remote work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress sites (themes, plugins, custom features).
• Build pages from scratch with or without page builders like Elementor.
• Optimize sites for performance, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.
• Manage QA, bug tracking, and ongoing maintenance.
• Implement backend and frontend features to spec; support WooCommerce.
• Improve site speed via caching and optimized code; configure hosting and Git workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs and dynamic content; translate briefs into roadmaps.
• Coordinate with internal teams and plugin/theme developers as needed.
