FullStack is seeking a seasoned WordPress Developer to join our talent network for flexible, remote, project-based work with U.S. clients. You will integrate into our client’s team and collaborate with designers and engineers on WordPress themes/plugins, focusing on robust, scalable solutions.

Required 4+ years in web development, strong PHP/JS/HTML/CSS, advanced English, and a four-year degree. Experience with search plugins (Relevanssi/ElasticPress/Algolia) and Agile/Scrum is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering with a focus on web development.
• Advanced English required to collaborate with U.S. clients.
• A four-year college degree is required.
• Deep experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Strong PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS skills.
• Experience evaluating and implementing WordPress search engines/plugins (Relevanssi/SearchWP/ElasticPress/Algolia).
• Solid UX design understanding and site-navigation optimization.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex usability/search issues.
• Able to evaluate technical trade-offs (custom vs. plugins) and deliver robust solutions.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and large, complex systems.
• Demonstrates extreme ownership and accountability for work.
• Comfortable working remotely and integrating into client teams.
