Details

A remote Wiring and Harness Installation Engineer position is available at Belcan. This is a full-time, direct role with benefits. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of engineering experience or an equivalent combination of degree and experience.

Responsibilities

1. Develop harness routing and clipping solutions within the assigned sector.
2. Create 3D models and 2D drawings of parts, assemblies, and systems for electrical design in rotocraft & fixed wing aircraft.
3. Support electrical hardware integration and wiring from design through production.
4. Coordinate with customers, project management, and engineering teams to prioritize tasks.
5. Travel up to 25% as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks for harness routing design.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and develop solutions.
• Effective communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Efficient time management and accurate design production.
• Quick learner, multitasker, adaptable to changing priorities.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills

• Analysis skills for issue resolution and mitigation.
• Experience with EMI/EMC, radiation, grounding, and bonding analysis.
• Ability to develop verification reports supporting vehicle specifications.
• Interest or background in aerospace.
• Knowledge of GD&T, ASME standards, SAE AS50881, ITAR compliance.
• Experience with CAD tools like UGNX, Mentor Graphics, Creo, Catia V5, Inventor.

Compensation

Salary range: $75,000 to $105,000, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, and paid leave. Compensation factors include education, experience, location, and discipline.
