Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a highly experienced Windchill Technical Developer with 10+ years of hands-on Java development and Windchill customization. You will design, implement, and support enterprise PLM solutions using PTC Windchill, Java APIs, TAM, and workflows.

The role blends development with technical leadership across Windchill implementations. The position offers 100% remote work within the U.S., supporting enterprise Windchill deployments, upgrades, and performance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience with Windchill customization.
• Deep expertise in Windchill APIs, TAM, OIRs, and workflow customization.
• Strong SQL skills and experience supporting Oracle or SQL Server.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Java customizations within Windchill.
• Extend data model using TAM, implement custom object types and metadata.
• Develop UI components with JSP/HTML/JavaScript and UI extensions.
• Build asynchronous processing using Windchill queues and scheduled tasks.
• Design complex workflow expressions and lifecycle automation.
• Optimize performance via profiling, caching, and JVM tuning.
• Ensure alignments with PTC best practices and upgrade readiness.
• Mentor teams through code reviews and technical workshops.
• Provide production support and drive platform stability.
• Create technical documentation and runbooks.
