Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in the United States is seeking an experienced Windchill Backend Developer to implement deep Windchill customizations using Java and Windchill APIs. This role focuses on platform-level enhancements, services, listeners, and processors while maintaining a clean, upgrade-friendly customization layer.

The ideal candidate has strong Java fundamentals, extensive Windchill platform knowledge, and a disciplined, production-grade engineering approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
5+ years of Java development with Windchill customization.
Deep Windchill API and customization framework experience.
Solid Windchill data model, lifecycle, and workflow knowledge.
Strong Java OO design and performance engineering skills.
Experience with JSP/HTML and Windchill client-side customization.
Hands-on Type and Attribute Management (TAM).
SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server.
Experience supporting Windchill upgrades.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Translate requirements into Windchill solutions with a robust design.
Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
Raise the bar through code/design reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
