Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Major Component Exchange (MCE) Field Specialist to service wind turbine generators across the United States. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on variable pitch/speed turbines and support site preparation with limited supervision.

The role requires travel up to 90% domestically and internationally, the ability to lift heavy loads, and working at heights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years as Wind Turbine Technician or 6+ years related experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, energy or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on wind turbines.
• Assist in site preparation and coordinate labor and materials with minimal supervision.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
