Job summary

AECOM has an opening for a Wetland Scientist in the New England Region. The role focuses on field-based Jurisdictional Wetland Delineation using three-parameter methods and requires experience with state wetlands regulations in the Northeast.

Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS in a relevant field, 2+ years of experience, and be able to work remotely while travel to local sites is expected. Relocation is not available and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Biology, Soils Science, Environmental Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid Driver’s License and must pass MVR.
• Wetland Delineation Experience.
• Familiar with Wetlands Regulations in MA/RI/CT/NH.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support field-based Wetland Delineation projects using three-parameter methods.
• Prepare data evaluations and technical reports for regulatory agencies.
• Contribute to multiple client sectors including energy and infrastructure.
