Job summary

Equal Justice Works seeks a Network Manager for the West Coast to cultivate relationships with sponsors, host organizations, law schools, and alumni. This remote role focuses on growing a $2–$3 million sponsorship portfolio, managing fellowship sponsors, and expanding partnerships with regional funders across the West Coast.

The position requires a JD and at least five years in fundraising, donor relations, or related fields, with strong communication and collaboration skills to advance public

Qualifications

• JD and legal work experience required; law firm or in-house pro bono experience preferred.
• Five+ years in fundraising, donor relations, sponsorship management or related fields.
• Knowledge of the public interest law sector and social justice issues.
• Commitment to developing public service leaders; mentoring is a plus.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and work independently or in a team.
• Growth mindset and accountability for results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with West Coast sponsors, host organizations, law schools, and alumni.
• Grow fundraising portfolio targeting law firms, corporate funders, and other funders.
• Develop and implement cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and retention plans.
• Prepare sponsorship proposals, presentations, impact reports, and stewardship materials.
• Track fundraising activity and portfolio performance through reporting systems.
• Support Fellows and alumni with high-quality stakeholder experiences.
